MIAMI AUTO SHOW WELCOMES ENTHUSIASTIC CROWDS NEW INITIATIVES AND VEHICLE DEBUTS HIGHLIGHT SHOW’S SUCCESS

MIAMI, FL – September 16, 2024 – Organizers of the Miami International Auto Show invited attendees to “experience an all-new ride” through an expanded show, marking the first time that the Camp Jeep® off-road driving adventure was held in an indoor setting and an EV test track that offered rides in more autos than ever before. The 53 rd annual event translated its changes into crowds that welcomed an exciting and fresh entertainment experience.

This year also marked the first time since 2019 that the show filled all four halls of the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The Miami show, which ended its 10-day run on September 8th, featured the debuts of the 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek, the Z Heritage Edition, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S, 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona, 2024 Fiat 500e, and Ram 1500 RHO.

Other vehicles seen for the first time in South Florida at the Miami Auto Show included the Lincoln Navigator, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, and Ford Mustang GTD. This year’s Official Show Car was Nissan’s 2025 All-New Kicks.

Miami Auto Show Welcomes Enthusiastic Crowds

An expanded indoor MIAS EV Track Powered by FPL Evolution Charging Network offered attendees rides in such EVs as Ford’s F150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E, Chevrolet’s Blazer and Equinox, Cadillac’s Lyriq, GMC’s Hummer, Dodge’s Hornet, multi-award-winning Lucid Air, an Alfa Romeo Tonale and a Fiat 500e.

“The crowds were enthusiastic throughout the show,” said Debra Koebel, auto show manager. “We focused on stepping up the entertainment experience by moving Camp Jeep® inside, expanding the EV test track and adding more luxury brands. Attendees welcomed these changes as attendance was up compared to last year.”

Other crowd-pleasing exhibits such as Memory Lane, Vendor Village and an area dedicated to exotics were featured. Memory Lane exhibited over 50 classics spanning nine decades and the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix awarded eight tickets for next year’s race from their booth.

Chevrolet hosted Ride & Drives just outside the entrance to the show during the opening weekend, inviting attendees to drive many of their newest models.

Miami HEAT Forward Nikola Jovic made a special in booth signing appearance at the Kia Display on the show’s final day.

The South Florida Automobile Dealers Association has been the official sponsor of the Miami International Auto Show since 1971. The Association comprises nearly 200 dealerships in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties.
